Happy Hockers understands the importance of privacy to all of our website visitors. 
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that use of our website and its facilities is a safe and rewarding experience.

GENERAL

If you visit the Happy Hockers website to read, browse or download information, our system will record the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed, the information downloaded and the country from which you’ve accessed the site. It does not identify you personally.

This information is strictly confidential and used for internal research purposes only. 
It helps us monitor which sections of the site are most popular and gives us a clear idea of what type of information and services to include on our site. 
It also informs us which members and subscribers are using the site, which further helps us to customise our online information. 
If you decide to complete an online application form, we will only collect the information that you enter into the online form if you submit your application. If at any stage you cancel your application or log out prior to submitting your application, the information you have entered up to that point will be automatically deleted.

Any information you provide to Happy Hockers, either by way of the web or any other means, is kept strictly confidential. 
The contents of our customer database is not available in any form to any third parties.

HOW EMAILS ARE HANDLED

We will preserve the content of any email that you send us if we are legally required to do so. 
Where appropriate, we may record your email address against the relevant company name on our confidential customer database.

Happy Hockers has taken all reasonable care to preserve the security of personal information submitted via the Happy Hockers web site.

Happy Hockers is committed to regularly reviewing developments in security and encryption technologies. 

As no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure, Happy Hockers cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services and you do so at your own risk.

Upon receiving your transmission, we ensure the necessary steps are taken to preserve the security of the information in our customer database.

Dispute Resolution Policy

Happy Hockers would like to resolve any complaints or disputes in a fair and prompt manner and is committed to doing so.

Please let us know any concerns you may have promptly because Happy Hockers is always striving to learn how to serve you better and continually improve our customer service. 

Often complaints are misunderstandings that can be easily resolved during a telephone call.

If you feel the issue is not being resolved satisfactorily you can: 

Email the Complaints Contact Person at info@happyhockers.com.au 

If you have chosen to email us with a complaint, you will receive an acknowledgement so you will know that we have received your complaint.

The Complaints Contact Person will help you with handling the complaint and will advise if any further information is needed. 

The Complaints Contact Person will liaise with managers and staff at Happy Hockers to find answers for you and if appropriate determine a fair outcome. 

You will be informed of the decision and the reasons for that decision. 

If you are not satisfied with the result of your complaint you may wish to contact Credit Ombudsman Service Limited. 

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we will in all instances respond to your complaint within 30 days of receipt of the initial complaint.

If we are unable to resolve the complaint within 30 days from the initial complaint we will: 

-inform you of the reasons for the delay 

-specify a date when a decision can be reasonably expected; 

and -notify you of your right to contact NSW Fair Trading 

All complaints will be processed at no charge to you.

Accepted forms of ID

If you would like to obtain a loan from us or sell an item to us, you will need to provide appropriate Identification.

Like opening a bank account we require you meet the 100 point Identification Criteria to prove who you are.

You must provide at least one form of ID that is Government Issued.

If this piece of ID does not show your date of birth, you must provide another form of ID from either the Government or one that shows your date of birth. 

You will also be required to supply documentation with your current residential address.

Some examples of Acceptable ID are:
